I was watching the birds feeding in the garden. I don’t know what they are, big ones, small ones, pigeons, all happily chomping away. Got me thinking we all could take a lesson from our little feathery friends, all different, all together as one… not bothering each other just getting on with life. Then this big ugly bloody crow swooped down and they all scattered as he squawed in triumph, king of the castle, pecking at the seed and bread. I went outside and said, “Bugger off Putin!” He flapped those black wings but did as he was told. I wish the real Putin would be that easy to get rid of….

Good analogy and yes, I wish too that it would be that easy.

That would be great if that ******* was so easy to get rid of! The bid is a crow, maybe a grackle?

Here is a link that will tell you about this bird, they are very common here in the southwest.

👍🏻 Our robins that live year round in the laurels are courageous little things. They take on magpies. They’ll take on a shovel when my husband’s out there digging holes. They won’t challenge a crow though.

I got a good chuckle out of this one, Vinny. How I wish it were possible to get rid of this murderer. The crow is a perfect comparison.

Where is the CIA when you need them? (I think I’ve been watching too much TV.) I don’t usually go around wishing people dead. Why can’t he just stop being such a monster?

Yes, I think we need a double double 0 – 7. Maybe Agent 014. Oh heck, let’s just call Superman.

I LOVE this post, Vinnie, especially you saying that “we could all take a lesson from our feathery friends”. I have found that humans are the ONLY species on earth that simply cannot get along, that cannot live and let live, but must always have more, even to the point of taking it from someone else. Sure, birds will fight as will bears, wolves, and lions, but they don’t kill because of the colour of one’s fur. Good post, my friend!
